Mohave County Leadership Supports Congressman Paul Gosar
Kingman, AZ – Mohave County’s elected leaders came together to endorse Congressman Paul Gosar Tuesday.
Arizona State Mine Inspector and former State Representative Joe Hart, the entire Mohave County Board of Supervisors – Buster Johnson, Tom Sockwell and Gary Watson – Kingman Mayor John Salem, Kingman City Councilwoman Janet Watson, Lake Havasu Mayor Mark Nexsen and State Rep. Doris Goodale all named Gosar the top choice in the Congressional District 4 race.
These Republican leaders see Dr. Gosar as a leader who matches the true conservative values of Mohave County and someone who has a proven record of accomplishments.
“I am humbled by all of the support Mohave County has shown me. The people there know I will work as hard for them as I have in Congress the last year and a half. I look forward to representing them and working with the people and these local leaders,” Gosar said.
Both of Congressman Gosar’s opponents reside in Mohave County, but these leaders know Congressman Gosar is the right man to serve the region in Congress. Mohave County’s current Representative in Congress, Trent Franks (R-Peoria), has also endorsed Gosar’s campaign to serve the new Fourth Congressional District of Arizona.
“The people who know Ron Gould the best know he would not represent western Arizona well in Congress,” Gosar said. “Ron Gould has turned his back on his constituents time and time again. He does not deserve the support of Mohave County voters.”
Dr. Paul Gosar has lived and operated a small business in Northern Arizona for over twenty-seven years. As the only member of the state’s congressional delegation from rural Arizona, Gosar has been recognized as one of the most successful freshman members of Congress, leading the investigation on Operation Fast and Furious, successfully cutting $2.3 trillion in federal spending, and fighting relentlessly to repeal Obamacare.
In addition, Gosar has the endorsement of Governor Jan Brewer, U.S. Senator Jon Kyl, and U.S. Rep. Darrell Issa. He also has the endorsement from a number of organizations we trust including: National Rifle Association, Gun Owners of America, the Arizona Farm Bureau, National Right to Life, Arizona Right to Life, Trust in Small Business, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and the Faith and Freedom Coalition.
